Content Moderation Policy

https://www.windberge.com/ offers everything from the specific to the unexpected. With this in mind, we develop and enforce content policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all users. As a baseline, we work to remove harmful and fraudulent content from our platform. Beyond this, we also expect that content aligns with the mission of our brand, and we develop these policies with our company values in mind.

To maintain the integrity of our platform and strengthen trust in our community we consistently strive to enforce our policies and hold all members accountable to the same standards. This is achieved through human review, quick action upon notice of an issue, by educating our member community, and a persistent commitment to a meticulous content moderation strategy.

1. Policies that apply to you and your content
2. Detection of violating content

3. Measures on violating content

4. Appeals

1. Policies that apply to you and your content

Our policies allow us to moderate Your Content, which includes messages, listings, reviews, images, and all other content you post using our Services (as defined by our Terms of Use). We reserve the right to employ enforcement mechanisms on an account when these policies are not followed. The policies below apply, in whole or in part, to the content created by our members, include but not limited to:

  • Community Policy

  • Intellectual Property Policy

  • Anti-Discrimination and Hate Speech Policy

In case we have reason to believe that either You, Your Content, or Your use of the Services violate our Terms, we may deactivate Your Content to some or all users, or suspend or terminate your account (and any accounts we determine are related to Your account), and ending your access to our Services. Generally, we will notify you that Your Content or account has been suspended or terminated unless a, you’ve repeatedly violated our Terms or b, legal or regulatory reasons preventing us from notifying you.

2. Detection of violating content

Our team use human review to detect and remove policy-violating content. Violations may be brought to our attention in any of the following ways:

- By Users: Violation can be reported directly to us.

- By Internal agents: Internal agents may scan content to identify violation of our Terms.

- By Regulatory reports: Reports from government agencies help identify non-compliant content.

3. Measures on violating content

To improve our services and keep our community spaces safe, we may take actions that restrict or suspend an account. We may use a combination of manual enforcement and an automated system to send warning notifications and ultimately suspend the account.

4. Appeals

We regularly update our control tools and enforcement procedures to increase their effectiveness and reach, but occasionally, inaccurate enforcement actions may take place. Since our Policies are continuously updated in line with regulatory changes and new standards, the enforcement outcomes may change or members may experience extenuating circumstances. We reserve the right for these changes.

Listing

Appeals for listing suspensions may be available in some cases.

Account

Accounts may be permanently or temporarily suspended. If your account has been temporarily suspended, you’ll generally receive an email from us explaining what happened and how to resolve the suspension. The suspension will remain until these issues are resolved. If your account is permanently suspended, we will specify this by sending you an email. YYou can appeal a permanent suspension once you resolve the issues that led to the suspension. However, the suspension will remain unless your appeal is accepted. Please note that you have 6 months from the day your account was suspended to file an appeal, and if you miss this window, your account will remain permanently suspended.
